Hello,
I grew up in the bays of Long Island. I loved the water then and still love it now.

Since then I lived in Maui for 4 years and worked on snorkel vessels. I gained a lot boat and water skills being on the water almost everyday.

Over the past four years I’ve worked with Marine Conservation NGOs. I’ve spent my winters in Mexico as a Captain for Sea Shepherd, working to save the Vaquita Marina from extinction. While on Long Island, I work with Operation SPLASH. This organization has six 20 ft Carolina skiffs that I operate in the bay to remove marine debris from canals, marshes and beaches. I am interested in all kinds of conservation work, and not afraid to get my hands dirty.

My current interests are expanding my marine skills/knowledge, marine conservation and seeing more of the world. Ideally I am looking for paid positions at this time.

I love being on the water and am very involved in marine conservation.

My focus at the moment is plastic pollution in the ocean and saving marine animals. I am involved with Sea Shepherd and plan to contine working with them to directly combat poaching, illegal fishing and pollution.

My goal is to work on the ocean to increase my knowledge of boats and the water. I am looking to broaden my skills with naivgation and mechanics in the engine room.

And like many of my seafarer mates... I would love to buy a sailboat one day and travel the world
