Dear Shipmates

Introduction

I am a live aboard sailor, currently in Malaysia. I have been cruising s.e. Asian waters on my 12mtr catamaran for the past 3 years. I am well educated, love travel and have a wide range of interests including sailing, diving, and flying. I am reasonably well read, an amateur musician (guitar) and have a love of literature, music, ancient history, anthropology and archaeology.

About the boat, the plans, and current crew

usually cleancomfortablevery safeshare experienceseek adventurefulfill a dreamfind a soulmate/partner

Big picture plan is to sail across the top of Borneo (probably April this year with the sail Malaysia rally) to reach and dive the Raja Ampat islands. After that, into the pacific.

I have been on the boat for 5 years, and while I probably won't win any races, regard myself as a capable and more importantly, careful, skipper. Safety is my number one priority, the boat is well equipped.

Sailing experience while useful isn't mandatory. Those skills I need from you that you don't have, can be taught. I love to play guitar, if you have an instrument, bring it. (maybe draw the line at Cello or Kettle Drum :-)....)
