Hola! Im Tulia from Mexico. Since 2010 I started living in different places, the US, Mexico, Europe, the Pacific Islands. I'm a health researcher and writer, with a recent interest in medical anthropology.

In 2013 I did the Pacific crossing in an epic voyage; I didn't know how to sail or have sailed in my life and decided to experience the world in another way. I moved to Puerto Vallarta and offered my help as crew in exchange to learn how to sail... ended up in French Polynesia.

The crossing was aboard "En Pointe" a 31ft wooden trimaran (Searuner), then in Fiji, I joined "Miss Goodnight" a Lagoon 41´ with a German family sailing to New Zealand, being crew while also looking after their 3 months old and 5 years old kids.

I´m back in Mexico! Currently, with my partner (Luz) we are building a house near the Teotihuacan pyramids, in the countryside. For now, we are happy sailing as crew in the Baja haha and around Mexico! She is new in the sailing world and would be great to gain some experience before trying to cross an ocean... I guess...

I´m an easy going, calm, willing to learn and easy to get along. I adapt fast to different situations and lifestyles. I love nature and being outside. I enjoy a book, silence, relax as well as good conversations and outdoor sports. I enjoy the place just by taking it easy or sometimes by hiking, exploring, getting lost, and meeting the people from there... usually being in the place without any specific purpose, just to enjoy it.

I have experience (and references available) as a good cook, deckhand, night-watcher, nanny aboard.
I have a nursing degree.

I´m writing about the Pacific Crossing but I haven't sailed in 3 years, so I am starting forgetting how it feels to be on the go, just surrounded by water and nature. Also, my girlfriend is a filmmaker and she would like to film aboard a sailboat.
