We are currently in Melbourne (home port) and planning to spend as much of January (2021) as possible and maybe part of February cruising Bass Strait Islands, Wilsons Promontory and possibly north coast Tasmania. Planning to be back in Melbourne around end of January. No experience necessary, just want to have fun. The plan is to be ready to at start of January and see where the wind accomodates. Idea is to get to Refuge at Wilson's Promontory and then see when we might move south towards the Furneax Group and Flinder's Island. But then, there is always, King Island and maybe west coast Tasmania.
Sharing pretty much the cost of food and some fuel at $20 per day per person.
Sailing, Diving, BBQ's, seeing the sights, Refuge Cove, Deal/Erith Island, Flinders Island, King Island, Tasmania etc etc etc etc..
The skipper, Trevor, is experienced offshore with commercial qualifications. She has spent much of the last 15 years on the Strait and circumnavigated Tasmania twice with the current owner. The boat, is a full keel, cutter-ketch and kitted for distance cruising.
