After two and a half years of re-fitting done in a Croatian shipyard, this aluminum sailing yacht will be ready to go for the season 2025. It is our plan to use the boat both privately and also for commercial luxury charters in the Med during the summer season 2025.

We look for an experienced couple that likes to take meticulous care of our yacht on a long-term basis. The main criteria for us are trust and reliability, experience and service-orientation. What we are looking for is
(a) an experienced yacht master having gained experiences on a sailing yacht with a size of 70 feet plus who can sail the yacht together with the owner (very experienced sailor with relevant licenses), but also can do charters and re-positioning trips on his own (additional deckshand to be hired, if needed) - technical experience and a good understanding in electrics, hydraulics and/or electronics is required, and
(b) a dedicated chef/housekeeper with a passion for luxury catering, cleanliness and hospitality, preferably also with sailing experience.

In terms of personality we are looking for POSITIVE-minded, smiling, and self-organized people with a dedication for luxury-service and cleanliness.

The boat is a one-off 86-foot aluminum monohull sailing superyacht from 2009 with carbon rig and lifting keel and a weight of 70 tons. It has an owners cabin/ensuite bathroom, two guest rooms/ensuite bathrooms, salon, pantry, a double-bed crew cabin/ensuite bathroom, and a single bed crew cabin/ensuite bathroom.

We acquired the yacht in the summer of 2022 and for the last 30 months it has undergone a COMPLETE re-fit in a shipyard in Croatia. The yacht is now essentially a NEW BOAT. The re-fit includes:
- new engine,
- complete overhaul of generator,
- complete overhaul of gear box, sea valves,
- new watermaker, new UV-filters, new boiler,
- new air exhaust, new bilge pumps
- completely overhauled fire fighting system, new central fire alarm
- all hydraulic hoses and connectors replaced (1.1 kms),
- new/serviced pistons, furlers, winches
- complete re-design/re-furnishing of all rooms, new walls, ceilings/lightings, floors, new furniture, upholstery (also in cockpit), new armartures, new pantry/bathroom gear. General appearance: a bright and modern interior!
- new hatches, or at least glass of hatches renewed, new moscito nets at each hatch
- replacement/servicing of carbon standing rig,
- new running rig, fenders, mooring lines,
- new paint: hull, deckshouse, mast/boom
- new retraceable mooring winch,
- new stern thruster,
- new hydraulic passarelle,
- new lithium batteries, new power management system,
- new wiring,
- new TVs, audio system,
- new wifi antenna and system,
- partially new aircon/heating system with partially new air ducts and all new air-handlers/control units in all rooms,
- new transducers, antennas, satellite radio,
- partial replacement of/additions to B&G nav system
- all fresh-/grey-/blackwater pumps new, all hoses and tanks cleaned, new tank-/bilge-alarm system,
- completely overhauled windlass, new 150 meter anchor chain, new second anchor device
- new dinghy, alu/40hp,
- and endless things more...

At the end of this, the yacht will be like brand-new! And we want to keep it that way for a long time!

The re-fit is expected to be finalized in March 2025 only. We would like to hire a crew already as from April 1, 2025. After sea-trials and instructions from the re-fit shipyard where we will all familiarize ourselves with the yacht, and the intention is to stay in the Med for the remaining season. Firstly close to the shipyard, i.e. Croatia, Italy (Adria), then probably going more west. For the season 2025 we are planning is to cruise the Med. The yacht will be used privately as well as for commercial charter.

About us: we are a married couple aged 69 and 64 living in Zug/Switzerland and Hamburg/Germany. As both of us have demanding jobs, for the time being we can only use our yacht by flying in and out, although some work we will do also on board. So we will only be partly on board, either alone or with max 2 friends. When on board I, the owner, will sail the yacht, but with your help. We want to enjoy our time on board, and would like to spend as little time as possible with things like repairing, maintaining, replenishing, cleaning and generally keeping things up and running. This is expected from the crew to take care of on a self-organized basis. When we are not on board the yacht will be chartered or at anchor/moored in ports and needs to be taken care of. Occasionally the yacht needs to be re-positioned for the next trip/charter. This is to be managed by the crew. For charters and generally during the peak season a third crew member will be hired for service, cleaning and help on deck.

We are looking for an experienced couple as crew, captain and chef, that has been living/working together for quite a while already. We expect from our crew that it is self-organized, i.e. has a good eye on things that need to be done, and then get them done in a self-organized manner. For the times we will not be present on board we would like the crew to keep the yacht in excellent condition, prepare for the next guests/trip and watch the yacht carefully. Very important for us is absolute cleanliness, inside and outside of the yacht, positive and friendly attitude and luxurious hospitality for us and our guests.
