UPDATE. 3 / 8 / 14. I am currently in Redang island in Malaysia heading to the perenthians then on to Thailand for a month around Koh Samui, Koh Tao etc
UPDATE 17/1/2014 will be cruising thailand until early march then heading south around Singapore then up the east of ,
Malaysia,on to Borneo, Brunei, Phillipines, Sulawesi , Irian Jaya on to the solamons?
No definet time frame, just go with the flow. Could be a few years? Depending on how many amazing places we discover?:
Update..28/12/2013. Currently in Patong and will be around Thailand for two months.

UPDATE 8/10/13 had great delivery trip to Darwin on another yacht..,doing a little maintenance then fly back to my yacht 17th oct in Thailand.hardstand work finished now and back in the water 15/11/2013 still around Krabi.

UPDATE 12/7/2013 left the boat in Krabi Thailand ,now back in OZ......return to my boat mid oct...,paint the bottom and cruise another year in Asia.I need crew for this.

UPDATE 22/4/2013 back in Langkawi after great 3 months in Thailand

UPDATE 5/12/2012 Well we have had a great 3 months in Indonesia and another month exploring Malaysia.The boat is now in Langkawi with intentions to sail to Thailand after xmas where I will spend many months around the islands.

2012/2013 is the year to sail my own yacht! Lets go!(I have been skippering another yacht for the previous 6 yrs) I also have a podcast interview link I can send you if you want to find out more.
UPDATE. 18/2/2015 currently sailing Cambodia for a few months enjoying .

UPDATE 2/2/2017 after sailing several times between Thailand and Cambodia, the yacht will cross the gulf again around the end of this month(February) to Kuala terrangannu. After a month around the islands I will leave the boat while I fly back to Australia for few months .then return to continue the adventure :) have a great day :).
January2019. Currently in Kota Kinabulu Malaysia . Next leg is to Palawan philipines end of February

HISTORY OF MY YACHT: The yacht is a very comfortable 50ft ketch that has been fully refurbished with all new electrics, upholstery; refrigeration, computer nav. etc etc.To give you an idea of previous excursions... I spent many months of 05 and eight months of 06 sailing via several beautiful islands/sandy beaches and coral reefs to reach the whitsunday islands then on to port douglas returning to Tin can bay for yearly maintenance.After spending 05 and 06 coastal cruising it was time to venture o.s. In 07,After a great 6 months in the south pacific,learning new cultures and helping the people proved very rewarding! For these 3 years I enjoyed my own yacht. Then In 08 I was offered a job to skipper Alliance around the whitsunday islands for 6 months returning to Tin can bay for maintenance. In 09 I skippered Alliance again up the east coast spending the bulk of my time around the whitsundays again for a 5 month period.In 10, I took Alliance to Vanuatu and new caledonia for 6 months and am now back at Tin Can Bay for my yearly maintenance..2011 I took Alliance back to the south pacific for 6 months...looking forward to this year(2012) This year I will be taking MY OWN yacht.Update 19/3/2013 Had good trip to Thailand where I am currently cruising.May stay here this year?The boat has dive gear for 2 people.
UPDATE 23/7/2013 I left MY yacht on hardstand in Thailand and currently doing few wks work on another boat at tin can bay(OZ)... now I have been asked to deliver that boat to Darwin... Then I will fly straight from Darwin to Thailand(17th oct) to join my OWN yacht to cruise another year in Asia.
I love the relaxed cruising life,hiking.exploring,swimming,diving,snorkling,fishing,beautiful bays,sundowners,time with friends,music especially live bands,dancing,learning to play my new uke and anything fun!:)
I am fit,strong, practical and healthy,looking to make the best of my life:)

You would need the ability to be part of a team,be reasonably athletic (for the onshore touch footy or cricket games) have a sense of humour,to carry out deckhand duties,help with the cooking would be greatly appreciated,and have a love for life.Previous sailing experience and knowledge of basic boating could be handy.
