Hi everyone,

My name is Francisco. I'm from Mexico, but I live in Norway, in the beautiful and rainy city of Bergen. I'm passionate about the sea and I love sailing. I was not born into a sailing family, but I fell in love with the sea as a child. Three years ago, I had the opportunity to buy a 33ft Danish sailboat from 1986. Since then, I have been sailing with my wife and a couple of times solo. I haven’t been using the vessel as much as I would like. I'm learning new things all the time and would like to have the opportunity to sail with other people.

I have an electromechanical engineering background, I'm a handy person with knowledge in mechanical and electrical work, and I am willing to help with whatever is necessary. I don’t mind getting my hands dirty. I'm a good cook; at home, we eat plant-based, but I'm flexible and eat everything, especially when traveling, so it's not a problem.

In my spare time, I practice various sports such as mountain biking, road cycling, jogging, hiking, swimming, paddling, climbing, and skiing, to name a few, so I'm in good shape. I love to travel and to meet new people, but I'm also comfortable in silence, reading a good book, or just contemplating the view.

I would love to embark on a new adventure, maybe not in my own sailboat this time, as I don’t feel comfortable enough to do it on my own yet, but one day I definitely want to. For now, I am willing to help with anything. I hope to meet you and fair winds!
