I am Caroline, a 30 year old engineer based in Germany. In October 2024 I am taking a 6 month Sabbatical from work, first going to spend some time in East Africa. Afterwards I’d love to spend around 4-8 weeks on a sailing boat, so my idea would be to join a boat around the beginning of January 2025 (but I am flexible).

Ideally in a warm sunny area, around small islands with beautiful places and great experiences. My focus is on meeting new people, explore this beautiful planet, eat good food and enjoy a different lifestyle for some time. I am a open-minded, friendly and optimistic person and generally speaking quite capable. Easy to be around, as people tell me, and I like to laugh.

I have six weeks of vacation and Regatta sailing experience and the german motor boat license (SBF) plus the German Sailing License (SKS). I love the moment when the engine is turned off and only wind and water is what you hear while sailing.
