I have always enjoyed activities related to the sea and especially diving and sailing. I started sailing in a "420", later Windsurfing and since 2004 I have been sailing on cruising sailboats. I currently own a Bavaria 32 Cruiser and make coastal navigation in Portugal. In 2023 I have made two longer sailing journeys, one from Lisbon to Gibraltar and back 620Nm 10 days on a Jeanneau 45.2, another from Terceira/Azores to Lisbon 900NM 7 days on a Dufour 360 as crew member performing all tasks needed onboard including night shifts. In 2024 May I have made a sailing journey from Cascais/Portugal to Porto Santo/Madeira to Funchal/Madeira to Santa Maria/Azores and back to Lisbon, 1800Nm 18 days on a Catamaran Excess 14.

I am experienced in coastal and ocean navigation, I have the Ocean Skipper license from Portugal and a RYA Certificate for Day Skipper Sailing. I have sailed as Skipper on chartered sailing yachts and Catamarans, in countries such as Croatia, Italy/Sardinia, Spain/Balearic Islands and Portugal. I am used to do all the necessary tasks on board to ensure a good sailing trip and in safety. I enjoy teaching and learning from other people. I am experienced in underwater scuba diving and underwater photography.

My intention in seeking to be part of the crew on other sailboats is justified by the will I have to develop more experience in coastal and ocean navigation, gaining more knowledge about life at sea and at the same time meeting new people and places.
