Hey-hey, dear captains and employers!

My name is Mykyta, I’m 29 years old, originally from Ukraine, but currently living in Italy.
My maritime career started in 2019. For three years, I worked on expedition sailing boats in places like Antarctica, Greenland, the Russian Arctic, Kerguelen, South Africa, and Patagonia.
I started as an ordinary deckhand but eventually progressed to first mate.

As a first mate, I have crossed the Atlantic five times, delivering sailing yachts between South America and Europe and back. I also have solid experience in boat maintenance, as I always stayed for the refits of our sailing boats after Arctic and Antarctic seasons.

I left my previous company because I spent 8–10 months at sea each year — which was fine when I was single. However, now that I’m married, I don’t want to spend so much time away from my loved ones. I’m currently looking for work opportunities in Europe or in high-latitude regions, but with contracts lasting no more than 2–3 months.

I am now based in Italy, fully available, and ready to start working. I’m open to delivering boats or conducting maintenance. Having recently gotten married, I’m full of motivation and energy to work!
