I am available for both day and night shifts, can take the helm in calm to moderate seas, and have worked as a hostess in the Maddalena Archipelago. My sailing experience includes assisting in the Aegean Sea, Ionian Sea, around Sardinia, the Pontine Islands, and the areas surrounding Lisbon. I am also able to cook while sailing and enjoy preparing natural, healthy food whenever possible. I have a deep respect for both the ocean and the people I sail with, and I fish only for food.
In the summer of 2022, I sailed around the Azores Islands for three weeks, followed by a 6.7-day crossing from the Azores to Finisterre in Galicia, sharing watch duties with the captain. In 2019, I served as the sole crew member on a 15-day voyage due to the absence of two other crew members, thanks to Findacrew. This experience, alongside learning from a Danish captain with over 40 years of experience, gave me foundational knowledge in sails, navigation, safety, knots, anchor work, radar use, and more.
On my own, I have crewed on Zodiac-type boats in the fjords of Chile, along the Galician coast, and on a sailboat on the coast of Croatia. I am not prone to seasickness, and I am responsible, honest, respectful, and straightforward. Eager to learn, I follow orders well and get along well with kids, thanks to my experience with nieces and nephews.
My passion lies in photography, especially portrait work, and I freelance as a travel and adventure writer for magazines. I have had the joy of traveling solo to over 40 countries and 230 cities across Africa, Europe, Asia, and South America, which has helped me become an open and respectful person toward other cultures. I am also an Airbnb Superhost, as I genuinely enjoy the spirit of hospitality.
