Hi,
I have my CC, and have completed three long offshore passages in the last two years, including a delivery from Southport to Fiji.
I am a non-smoker and teetotaller, fit (have been surfing all my life) and able to stand watch. I rarely suffer from seasickness and am a safety minded, conservative sailor.
I am a tidy crewmate and respectful of both the ship and other crew and have prepared meals at sea for a crew of 7.
I have navigation experience with both paper charts and chart plotters and am comfortable using instrumentation - radar, AIS etc.
I am able to stand watch at night and always have the safety of ship and crew foremost in my mind. I have no hesitation in waking the skipper if I have any doubt about the situation.
I am happy to sail with experienced skippers who have prepared a safe yacht, have a conservative sailing mindset and laugh easily.
