I've been sailing more or less from 2008, on board the private yachts and as a crew of a historic tall ship. The last years I haven't done a lot of sailing but would love to come back to this lifestyle and ready to get qualifications if an interesting project arise.
My first boat was a full-rigged ship - a historic copy of the fregate built in 18th century: square rigging, 3-masted, 30-meters long, crew: 35-40 people. On board of this boat I've sailed across Baltic and Northern seas. One year I lived on board the boat called "Vagabond" and sailed with it from Italy to Brazil in a crew of two. Later - short sailing trips in the Colombian Caribbean (Santa Marta to Cartagena) and the Sea of Cortez (Concepcion bay to La Paz), the Panamá channel transit.
I'm used to work in changable and trying environment - as a guide, tour leader and journalist. I have experience working in the national park (Torres del Paine, Chile) and the base camp (Plaza de Mulas, Aconcagua, 4300 m.a.s.l). For the last 14 years I have worked as a tour leader and a guide in Europe, Asia and South America. Love this life style - always on road, each day is unique and different.
I'm a qualified journalist with 20 years years experience in writing, editing, photography and public relations. I have published my articled in sailing magazines, such as "Sailing Today", "Cruising Outpost", "Cruising Helmsman", "Good Old Boat" and tourism magazines, among them "Discovery" and "L'Officiel Voyage". I am very interested in nature conservation in general and particularly sharks, and have articles published on this subject, including shark species of Baja California Sur. I have some experience in video shooting and editing, managing social nets.
I'm very fit, a certified diver and a good swimmer. In 2022-23 I have completed Wilderness First responder and rescue courses and have taken a wilderness guiding course in the Spanish Pireneos.
