Just me, I'm not bringing any crewmates

Dear Shipmates

Introduction

When I’m not chasing adventure, I run and teach a martial arts organisation, which gives me the flexibility to drop everything and sail off at a moment’s notice. I grew up spending my summers by the sea, snorkeling and water skiing, which sparked my lifelong love for the ocean.

Over the years, I’ve trekked 27 days to the Magic North Pole in 2013, rowed across the Atlantic in 2017/2018 during the Talisker Whisky Challenge and spent four months sailing a 42’ Bavaria around the Balearic Islands, learning the ropes and exploring new horizons.

I’m comfortable cooking in small galleys, living in tight quarters and I’ve never suffered from sea sickness—a bonus in any crew. Recently, I spent 20 days sailing the Finnish and Swedish coastlines with a Viking Captain, where I honed my crewing skills and deepened my love for the sea.

With a proven ability to endure hardship, a knack for staying calm in stressful situations and a flexible lifestyle that supports spontaneous adventure, I’m ready to bring my resilience, skills, and enthusiasm to your crew.

Over the next few years, I’m diving deep into the sailing life—exploring new waters, experiencing different boats and seeing where the wind takes me. I’m eager to try it all, from crossing oceans and facing big seas to anchoring in serene harbors and discovering vibrant coastal towns. Along the way, I love connecting with new friends from all over the world, sharing stories and learning from each adventure.

While I plan to train and earn my Yacht Master qualification, I believe there’s no substitute for real, hands-on experience. That’s why I’m spending as much time as possible on the water, learning by doing. My ultimate goal is to buy my own liveaboard boat in two years and set off to sail around the world.

My motivation to crew is all about gaining real-world knowledge and experience that you just can’t get in a classroom. I’m excited to learn what life is truly like out on the water, to hear the stories of those I meet on board and to make new friends while exploring the world.
