Open and flexible schedule, semi-retired. Eager to learn and seeking to gain more sailing experience with plans to buy my own boat.
I spent many years working long hours and building a successful real estate business. Realizing the achievement wasn’t fulfilling me any longer was a game changer and I decided to retire from real estate and built a portfolio of vacation rental properties. I manage the properties I own mostly passively and remotely which has enabled me to travel and the desire to learn to sail has quickly grown into a passion.

I love adventure and sailing has long been a dream of mine. Being semi-retired has led me to the desire to buy a sailboat and explore the world from the seas. I’m actively working to gain sailing experience and at the same time, meet new people and have memorable experiences.
So far I’ve sailed 4 trips from the Bahamas and South Florida up to Cape Charles and Baltimore (Outside around Hatteras 4 times) and I just finished a month long sail from Annapolis up around Long Island Sound, to Boston and back to the Chesapeake. A total of appx 5100nm to date. I’m comfortable with night watches and am a very quick learner. I have experience working with sails but still learning depending on the boat. I am comfortable with navigating and anxious to learn more.
