Dear Shipmates, I am a passionate waterman, who gets on everything that floats driven by the wind - be it a surf or kiteboard, a small or a bigger sailing boat - either way gliding on the water makes me happy. Proud owner of a 26 ft vessel for a couple of years exploring the Portuguese coast, and some experience of passages, I am looking forward to get further experience on blue water accompanying any skipper who wants to have a useful crew member on board.

I am above all a family man, happily married and father of five children. Family is still growing with a baby granddaughter.

I am working as a freelance consultant and coach, so I am flexible with time that I try to divide between my international projects, family and my growing passion to spend time on blue water.
Working with different cultures all over the world, I come along quite well with people, I am easy to adapt to new circumstances, while open and eager to learn.

While I own a 26 feet sailing vessel (Ecume de Mer), that I have restored quite well over the past years, I am seeking to gain experience and mileage on other vessels to be prepared to sail my boat (or a bigger sister) further off the coast of Portugal. This could be for very short transfers along the coast of Portugal, or for longer engagements that take us off the coast or cross the ocean - it depends just to find the right match.

This year (2024), I have already sailed from Sardinia to Mallorca and crossed the Biscaya - and I am keen to do more.

I am only fairly experienced in offshore sailing, but I learn fast, I am good for cooking, cleaning, maintenance and engineering service and still have a good portion of life experience to share.
