Introduction
Hello!
I'm completely new to sailing and boating but I'm keen to get into and learn new skills. I've recently left my job and I'm now looking for a sustainable way to travel. By building up my experience with shorter, coastal voyages, I'm hoping to get to a point where I can, one day, visit far off corners of the Earth through the power of the wind.
What I lack in experience I more than make up for in can-do attitude, desire for learning new skills and a strong work ethic that will see me pitch in on more than my fair share of the work. If that's something you're looking for please drop me a message and we can arrange a chat. If you're not, then I'd ask you to at least give it some thought as you might be pleasantly surprised!
Because of this, I'm not fussed about the type of boat/vessel, duration or destination.
From my experience on boats, I'm never sea sick. Hopefully that's a plus.

My plan is to have an adventure and learn how to sail. Quite a simple one really. So I'm up for a lot and happy to go anywhere, particuarly somewhere new.
I'm travelling on a budget so I'm keen to keep costs down and not embellish too much. That's why I'm happy to do lots of cooking.
I like to excerise and stay fit, so if we make it onto land at any point I'd try to use that time for a nice run.
I like to read and learn new things. I have a great interest in nature and wildlife. In particular, conservation and rewilding. As well as this, love a bit of history. True stories and travel writing also make the list. I'd say my favourite novel is The Stranger - Albert Camus which obviously has nothing to do with anything I'd just mentioned.
I'm trying to get into drawing and other art mediums so I'd bring my sketch book to badly draw my surroundings.
I've put that I wish to bring a bicycle but this is just a ''nice to have" rather than a necessity. If there's room that's excellent!

My main motivations are to learn to sail and to seek adventure.
I've recently quit my job so I'm looking to do more travelling, particuarly sustaibly. I think sailing is an ace way to sustainably see the world and nature, something I'm keen on.
Because of the whole job quitting thing, I have lots of time available.
