Short version:
I would love to learn how to sail, so I am looking for someone who needs a hand on his/her boat and doesn't mind a newbie :). Ideally leaving somewhere in Europe, direction of the Caribbean.
Extended version:
Hallo hallo !
I guess a bit of context would be nice, so you can get an idea of what you can expect from me.
So, I have been working as an assistant architect for the past two years. And as much as I love my coworkers, the office atmosphere and the work itself, I feel like it’s time for some change. I’m a bit tired of the computer work and super excited about a hands-on job, a new adventure, a bit of no comfort zone, … I’d love to learn a ton of things and get to know myself a bit better (I feel like I have used all the clichés now :) ).
Learning how to sail has been on my “things I really want to do list” for quite some time, so I figured I might as well start there. I will be really honest, I know nothing about sailing. I am super motivated to learn everything and give a hand with anything you need help. I can cook and do general maintenance. Obviously I'd be sharing the costs.
As a person I consider myself kind, thoughtful, grateful, enthusiastic, but also calm.
Hmmm, I don’t know what else to tell you. Maybe some things I deeply care about or enjoy a lot: (the warmth of) my family, the environment, adventure, the refugee crisis, animals, the beauty of nature, feeling connected, asking a million questions, the sea and the underwater life, cooking, trying new things, climbing, books, …
