Hello. I am Selcen, a sailing enthusiast with little experience. At the moment I work as a researcher at a university in Barcelona and would like to join some short sailing trips around Spain and Mediterranian . Long weekend trips or up to one week would be great at this point.

I sailed a few times before and since I am into outdoor sports in general, I also enjoyed my short sailing experience and would like to learn more!
Apart from my current location, I am also really interested in northern area, Artic circle so please consider me if you are travelling to those areas. I have quite alot of experience in cold geographies (but not on sea).

A little about me: I am a cultural anthropologist and photojournalist so I am used to spending alot of time in remote parts of the world. I am also an enthusiastic traveller!If you are interested about learning about different cultures from an anthropological perspective, would be happy to share my knowledge.
I think I am also an easy going person with a sense of humour but ofcourse you would need to meet me and decide yourself :)

Since I travel alot and also spend alot of time with new people I meet because of my job, I am quite used to living with others and adapting to different conditions. This is why I consider myself as an easy going person with good communication skills.
I am not easily offended by things and can express myself clearly most of the time.
But one thing important: I am certainly not a party person and find it very hard to tolerate noise (ofcourse I like it once in a while but it is not my general style). This is why it is important that you are looking for an outdoor person who enjoys peace and deep conversations or homour over a drink, not a party person.

I love trekking, camping, cycling..and outdoor activity and I think sailing is a great way to reach some of those remote natural beauties by the sea, going to places you could never reach by other means. That is why I would like to join sailing trips and also learn it myself. Having said that, I am also fine with less adventurous holiday trips around the Meditterenian ofcourse ;)
