Pierre and I are two young engineers willing to discover the world. We're interested in permaculture, low-tech, autonomy, simple and respectful ways of living... We’ve decided to travel plane-free, for ecological reasons but also because we think it’s a more interesting way to discover places, meet people and feel the distances.

Astrid, 23 yo: I am passionate about the living, travels, colors, sounds… Life circumstances guided me to become an engineer in biology, but more important than this title, I’m a very curious, implicated and determined woman.

Pierre, 25 yo: I love surfing, that’s how my relationship with the sea started. I have worked two years as a designer for a recyclable bicycle helmet, but I crossed an identity crisis and feel the need to learn using my hands and discover places and people around the world.

Of course, we undertake to contribute to the boardcash, to cook, to participate in the boat maintenance and nightshifts … always with a smile !

Astrid, 23 ans : je suis une passionnée du vivant, des voyages, des couleurs, des sons… L’enchainement des choses a fait que je suis ingénieure en biologie mais je suis avant tout une personne très curieuse, investie et déterminée. J’ai grandi à la mer et suis admirative du monde marin. Je suis sensible, curieuse et respectueuse.

Pierre, 25 ans : j’ai longtemps travaillé l’été en tant qu’animateur de colo autour du surf avec des enfants de tout âge, c’est ce qui a créé ma relation avec la mer. J’ai travaillé 2 ans chez Decathlon en tant que Designer pour un casque de vélo recyclable mais j’ai vécu une crise de sens et ressens le besoin d’apprendre avec mes mains et découvrir le monde !

Nous parlons très bien anglais et espagnol et sommes habitués à faire des rencontres et à partager des moments conviviaux. Nous nous engageons bien entendu à contribuer à la caisse de bord, à la préparation des repas, à l’entretien du bateau, aux quarts.

We started in France last November, crossed the Atlantic, sailed in the Caribbean, and crossed the Panamá channel too. Currently in the Galapagos, we will leave in a few days towards the Marquesas Islands with a nice family who is hosting us at the moment.

Our wish is to arrive in New Zealand this year before the cyclone season.

We are therefore interested in sailing :
- from the Marquesas to the Society Islands around mid/late July
- from the Society Islands to New Zealand around mid/late September approximately.

We are curious, respectful, we participate in all tasks, we can help with the children's school, we love to cook... and of course we know how do night watch on our own. We participate financially. We look forward to hearing from you!

Nous voyageons en bateau-stop depuis la France d’où nous sommes partis en Novembre dernier. Actuellement aux Galápagos, nous allons repartir d’ici quelques jours direction les Marquises, avec la chouette famille qui nous accueille en ce moment.

Notre souhait serait d’arriver en Nouvelle Zélande cette année avant la saison des cyclones.

Nous sommes donc intéressés pour naviguer :
- des Marquises vers les îles de la société à partir de mi/fin juillet
- Des îles de la société vers la Nouvelle Zélande à partir de mi/fin septembre à peu près.
