The boat:
Our Boat is a very save 78ft aluminum schooner. A one off, build to be sailed in high latitudes. Very well equipped, efficient and easy to sail and a very good performer. Offering great safety and comfort at sea.
Although we logged thousands of miles, the boat is always neat, very well kept and everything is in absolutely new condition.
As an eye surgeon, safety is always my top priority. And that's the way I do it when I go sailing. The yacht is fitted out with latest electronics and safety equipment and everything is in top working order.
The deck saloon allows a 360° all-round view, even from galley and navigation. The cockpit is well protected. The yacht offers 3 spacious double (two of them with single beds) with en-suite bathrooms and one single cabin. (Means there is space to retreat once in a while.)
The plan:
The ocean is a powerful and amazing part of nature. Wild and unpredictable. And at the same time severely affected by the influence of pollution and global warming.
We want to enjoy the freedom of sailing, gazing into a sky full of stars, enjoying the scenery of famous port town, waking up in beautiful anchorages, enjoying scenic landscapes, watching seabirds, dolphins and whales, test the different cuisines of the coastal countries, go on excursions inland.
And besides everything we just want to enjoy the incredibly beautiful nature that surrounds us together, share the impressions and have fun together.
I would be happy if you would accompany us and use your skills, your team spirit and your empathy and enthusiasm for nature to make our project a success!
Never hesitate to contact me, if you would like to join us.

Skipper and current crew:
I´ve more than 50years of sailing experience. But the sea teaches me never to stop learning…
I´m happy to share my knowledge and experiences. On the other hand, always interested in other people and opinions. Everything I do, I do with my heart.
I'm open minded, serious, in the same time like to take it easy, a good conversationalist with a distinctliy sense of humor. Financially secure, safe, sane, non smoker, drug free including mental meds, only social drinker (never while sailing).
I'm not one to panic, consequently I won't be losing my composure. Nor do I tolerate that type of behavior. No bossy types on board…
For me, mutual respect and sensitivity to a group dynamic are keys to safety and fun at sea. Our sailing course, weather and the navigational tasks are discussed together. Maneuvers are (if possible) planned in good time and the functions assigned. Crew members are involved in all decisions. But, there is only one skipper 😉.
Important that we have a good laugh every day, to enjoy some music and have fun and excitement! Very important that each crew member takes hers/his responsibility and takes safety very serious. In all waters it is vital that we can rely on one another and treat one another with respect, care and consideration.
