Introduction
I'm a new sailor looking for adventure and pure experiences on the water.
I spent 5 weeks as a deckhand restoring a traditional gaff-rigged schooner this summer (July-Aug 2020), and am very excited to do and learn more!
I have engineering, art, teaching backgrounds. I'm very transient and love going new places, learning new things, meeting new people, sharing stories from the backcountry and frontcountry!
I also love to cook, and am adept at meeting different health and menu needs (gluten free/vegetarian/vegan etc).

I am studying to be an EMT and Spanish Medical Interpreter, with hopes to work with global humanitarian efforts.
I'm a laid back traveler, and enjoy spontaneity, seeing where the journey takes me, living in the moment, and exploring the "side streets"! I am athletic and regularly cycle, hike, swim, and long distance backpack, actively seeking the wild nature experiences.

I have a huge desire to learn new things, work hard, and apply my eclectic skills and knowledge base to the maritime world that I have recently discovered! I am very interested in boat design and restoration, am very hands-on oriented, and willing to do and learn it all.
I'm a creative person, equally interested in the function and aesthetic of things!
