Hello. :)
I am currently in Thailand but not sure where to go next. Thinking Indonesia or Philippines to find some good diving or snorkeling!
I am hoping to find some crewing opportunities where I can learn to sail more confidently. My time at sea taught me a lot but I know there is so much more to learn.
I am a very hard worker and will go the extra mile to help out. Plus I love night watches ! And even though I am a very novice sailor I am looking to extend my knowledge in every way.
I spent two years sailing around the South Pacific and fell in love with the life style of living on a sailboat. That being said I never really got to learn to sail as "the Captain" was not interested in teaching me anything and preferred to do it all himself. Fair enough we did spend a lot of time on anchor but did 4 crossing of which consisted of about 25 days at sea. I did do night watches etc which I really enjoyed. How do you describe doing night watches to someone who never has - magical! Sailed on a Valiant 40 which was incredible for 2 years. Life on or near the ocean is definitely the dream!!
I love to scuba dive, minor free diver, SUP, canyoneering, climbing, hiking, outriggers, etc. I lived in Hawaii for about 8 years which feels like home to me. I love the Hawaiian Islands; especially Maui.
Vegetarian/pescatarian as I eat fish.
I love adventures of any kind and generally up for anything! Discovering remote places and unique spots is incredible to me. The ocean is my biggest passion and I love to go diving - free diving or scuba diving! :)
Willing to help with any boat maintenance whether that is cleaning the hull, scrubbing the deck, cleaning everywhere, teak work, painting the hull etc. Just show me what to do and how you want it done and I am right in there. Not afraid of hard work or learning new things.
Though I am a tropical, warm weather girl at heart I would love to go anywhere including the Arctic!
