retired emergency physician, retired cruise ship physician. ASA 101, 103, 104 in 2014 in the San Juan Islands (Washington State, USA). Considerable cruising experience as skipper and first mate starting in 1980's. Mostly Chesapeake Bay. BVI, New England, Key West also. Wife does not like to sail due to seasickness so I would be coming alone. Feb 2020 served as crew on catamaran sailing from Curacao to St. Martin, six night watches and 600 nautical miles. Nov 2020 served as 1st mate on 40 foot keelboat from Portsmouth VA to Vero Beach FL over 2.5 weeks over 900 miles, offshore from Beaufort NC to Cape Canaveral in several hops.
Feb 2021 served as crew on 46 foot ketch in Sea of Cortez for 2.5 weeks. June 2021 sailed as crew from north shore Long Island to Nantucket in 30 hours overnight and back over 7 days. June 2022 sailed for two weeks in Southern Turkey on 44 foot cutter rigged sloop. Feb 2023 sailed for ten days in Martinique and Saint Lucia on Jeanneau SunLoft 47. Sep 2023 helped to deliver a 34 foot sloop from Gloucester MA to Annapolis.
