The interior has 3 staterooms - master aft (Captain's room), mid-ship cabin (Chief Mate's), and the forward v-berth with double bunks (guest room/3rd crew). The interior is outfitted with teak... lots and lots of teak. We cut, sanded, and varnished every piece. She is equipped with 2 full heads and 2 stand up showers with plenty of hot water, and electric fresh water porcelain toilets. The galley is spacious and super functional... We ripped out (entirely) the old galley, and installed beautiful countertops, all new appliances including a Vitrifrigo double drawer fridge/freezer, one (of two) air conditioners blasts the galley, taster faucets for the 2 watermakers, and a drinking faucet with 2 filters - a 5 micron, and then .5 micron. We love cooking in this galley. The salon is large with a table that collapses to make a couch for movie night. The nav station is equipped with new Raymarine Axiom displays, a big magnum inverter, Fusion stereo system, and all the other basics... however, the nav station chair is something that can't be missed... one of our last projects, the chair doubles as a seat and a hides a Dometic ac/dc fridge/freezer... super nice overflow to the Vitrifrigo. She is powered by a Yanmar 110 turbo diesel - the good we go fast; the bad - we go fast. The Yanmar likes to move at 2800 RPMs, that means going slow is usually temporary (fast = 8knts, on average). From a safety perspective, we have her equipped with 7 fire extinguishers, ditch bag with EPIRB, MOB devices for PFDs, flares, strobes, certified life raft, etc.
On deck, she has fairly new sails, all new standing and running rigging, 6 massive bronze port lights with screens - lots of light and air, and 8 more medium sized matching bronze port lights. She's a center cockpit, and extremely comfortable and dry (in the full cockpit enclosure; all new as well). She has fore and aft lockers... fore deck is for anchoring equip, spinnaker, extra line, etc; aft locker holds the new Northern Lights 6kw generator with a sound shield (you really don't know it's on when inside the salon/galley. We have two dinghies - the main dinghy is a new 10'7" Inmar with a 20hp Suzuki and euro-helm (it has a bench with a back and a steering wheel). This is our expedition dinghy. We love to dive and fish off her. The second dingy is the shore dingy... a new Achilles with a new 2.5hp Yamaha. Around the oiled teak cap rail are new stainless steel stantions, life-lines, and a 8' davit off the stern to hoist the main dinghy high at night during anchor, and was engineered to turn the dinghy around such that the motor end of the dinghy sits on the yacht's transom (on skis). Perfect for making passages; it doesn't move, and very safe. It's been the talk around every anchorage I've been to.
