Introduction
Hi, I am robbert from Belgium.
I am currently living on my own sailboat (33ft). I have sailed this boat from the netherlands to belgium on october 2022 where I did a refit of all electrics and electronics, as well as a osmosis treatment of the hull. After that I left in august 2023 towards the better weather in the south.
I am currently sailing in the mediteranean and working remotely from the boat.
My profession is freelance software engineer and system administrator. So I can help out in anything IT related either onboard or onshore.
Due to having my own boat and doing most work myself I have experience with electrical and battery systems, engine maintenance, some fiberglass work, plumbing and getting into cramped spaces.
I've currently done around 3000NM on my boat and around 2000NM on other sailboats. A total of 4000NM was in the north sea and west-atlantic ocean the rest in the mediteranean.
All navigation, docking, sailing, maintenance and anchoring of my boat was done by me and my girlfriend.
