I am a 66 year old female looking to join with a captain and crew for sailing.
I have been on another site and have sailed with
9 other crews in the past and thought that I would expand my search.
I am able to pay my own expenses but do not wish to charter a vessel.
I prefer to anchor out but can contribute to some marina fees...so basically I am thrifty but not cheap!
I am in fairly good shape and can hoist a sail and weigh an anchor.
I know my way around a boat and what I don't know I will ask.
As to diet I try and eat healthy including fruits and veggies, seafood and yes, I will eat meat.
I am best as a short order cook but am not a chef by any standard.
I can drink alcohol or refrain; my drink of choice is red wine and sometimes a spot of rum.
My professional background is 30 years in ER/ICU as a Respiratory Therapist,
( it's like nursing but we don't do shit ) and my second life, 24 years, as a Licensed Massage Therapist.
I like to think I know allopathic and alternative medicine.
I have passed a level 2 federal background check.
I love to be on the water and have owned 6 different sailboats in the past.
So there it is: me in a nut shell.
As to timing this year into next; I have commitments through November 12th and wish to be back in St. Pete for the birth
of a granddaughter in early February.
