Hi. Since becoming 70 years old, I have not received many invitations to crew. So I will be happy to pay to sail with you as a supernumerary, passenger or crew./watchkeeper. I am an open-minded, youthful, agile retiree with extensive seagoing experience. In my younger days, I sailed on British freighters as a cadet/deck officer and, more recently, after retirement, in the USCG Auxiliary on USCGC William Tate, as well as a Food Service Specialist (cook-they were very shorthanded) on other cutters. I was also qualified as a small boat handler. I have always enjoyed sailing and motor craft of all types; I am optimistic in my outlook, and am here for fun, sharing my experiences, improving my skills, good-natured camaraderie and being out on the water. Always put safety first, and I am resilient when demands are high.
