I am Maike and I was born and grew up in a little town near the northcoast of Germany. I am a sportscientist consequently I am strong enough and got the endurance to work as part of the crew on a boat.

When I was younger my brother and I went with our beloved grandparents on vacation. Every summer we spent on their boat. We went to the Netherlands or the East Frisian Islands.
2019 I had the great pleasure to be part of a crew while sailing around Panama.
2021 I chartered with friends a sailingboat in Croatia for two weeks.
2022/2023 I was first mate on an Atlantic crossing from Gran Canaria to Guadeloupe.
!!!I am highly motivated to learn more about sailing and boat maintenance!!!
Another thing you should know about me is that I spent one year in the Dominican Republic. I lived there in a host familiy and they showed me how to live the happy life.
