After the Atlantic crossing I flew to Mexico in hopes of continuing my journey around the world. For insurance reasons, our boat could not leave Mexico and we spent 3 months free diving, spear fishing and exploring the islands of the Sea of Cortez. Thereafter, I found work in Canada and have spent the past 2 years in BC. With the hopes that Covid restrictions will begin to lift (we are both fully vaccinated), I would like to return to the liveaboard life and bring my partner on an adventure of a lifetime.. Across the south Pacific.
We will begin our journey here in Vancouver and drive south towards Panama. We hope to swim, surf and hike on our way. We intend on connecting with a like-minded crew in central America and prepare for the Pacific crossing. I have experience in provisioning, and we or both happy to work on and prepare the boat. I am most excited about communal living on board. I believe that compassion should be the basis of all our lives, not only to each other but to the world around us as well.
The south pacific has been a dream of mine since I was young, exploring Bays you can only reach by boat. We would like to sail, snorkel, free dive, explore marine and island life alike, hike and immerse ourselves in local culture. We both enjoy cooking and are organized and clean roommates.
With the high hopes that New Zealand will open its boarders once again we would like to plant some roots there for some time, work and travel and continue our journey around the world.
