200-Ton mate, 100-Ton master with Casualty Assistance Towing; Auxiliary Sail, and Security endorsements. Licensed 22-years ago and finished The 2023 TransPacific race from California to Hawaii, lived aboard 30-footer sailing southern California for 2-years; spent two years at sea with the Coast Guard, including Alaska and the Bearing Sea. I competed in Charleston Race Week and three Caribbean regattas, the Volvo Ocean 65' was the highlight followed by a Farr80 from Antigua to Bermuda; I sailed two 40' catamarans from Key West to the Bahamas and Charleston, and then a 44' Swan to Annapolis. My USCG career began as an engineer aboard a 100' ship, I graduated to marine electronic-technician; maintaining four Fountain power-boats, and my final 12-years was piloting helicopters for search/rescue and drug-interdiction. My boating lifestyle has included the Great Lakes, Dubai and most of the Caribbean; Hawaii and French Polynesia, I also explored Antarctica on an 11-day expedition. I am a Master SCUBA Diver and Emergency First Responder, with a sharp eye cultivated by leading an aviation safety program for two years; bachelor gourmet cook gravitating towards formal schooling, I know enough about most things to be dangerously helpful. I am OCD clean and organized, but not the typical pilot personality; around deserving characters I am comedic, and always keenly aware of appropriate timing. A distinct professional, naturally respected; my word is my honor, I am dependable and creatively energetic. I summit mountains and run, cycle trails and deadly roads; while loving doubles beach volleyball, stamina and endurance are rampid. Healthy and do not possess an addictive personality. My highlights have been exploring Indonesia aboard a 65' trawler, two 40' sailing catamarans offshore Florida to Charleston and delivering a 63' power catamaran from Tanzania to Kenya; and a 93' monohull within Phuket, Thailand .... continuing to seek unique and adventurous explorations ple
