I'm Rocco, a professional Skipper. I've skippered around in the Mediterranean, US east coast and the Caribbean with many different boats, from charter boats to 60+ feet luxury private owned yachts. I’m currently the captain of a 66 feet monohull. I crossed the Atlantic 6 times, four westbound and two eastbound:

From 2010 to 2016 I've been part of a sailing team, racing at least twice a month in every kind of regattas, from match races to offshore, all year round, including races like the Giraglia Rolex Cup or Antigua Sailing week. After that I personally refitted a Mini 650, and raced it through the 2019/2021race seasons, obtaining two 3rd places in the Italian Championship.
I studied economics and got a Master's degree in Business and administration, studying both at the University of Parma (IT) and Valencia (ES). Right after uni I worked as a salesman and public tender manager, but in 2016 I decided to turn sailing into a full time job.
I'm now looking for interesting yacht management/skipper positions, deliveries/charters or racing campaigns.

I'm interested in every aspect about the life at sea and watersports, both on the water and above. I swim and dive/freedive quite often when I have the possibility, I also like wingfoiling and fishing.
When I'm at home, I like soccer and ski. I love cooking and I like to play with graphic design and video editing.
My plan for the next years is to work hard on boats, to sail new seas and meet new people. My sailing targets are to captain a 100 feet boat (but I firmly believe the size is not the most important aspect on a boat!), to complete a circumnavigation, participate to the Mini Transat race, and sail to Antarctica.

My ambition is to full time captain an interesting sailing yacht or to sail great adventures.
I’ve also worked as a freelance, especially delivering high performance luxury boats. I would like to share experiences in the seas with new people, sail in remote places and do my best to win many races.
