I am a capable and experienced sailor having sailed extensively in the Pacific and Indian Oceans. I am adventurous easy going and always willing to lend a hand. I have done three large sailing trips; one from the Solomon Islands to Taiwan and one from Galapagos to Tonga and another from Thailand to Italy as well as various smaller trips. I am a capable cook, if not a gourmet one, and am mechanically inclined having learned to sail on a small catamaran that I fixed up when I was younger. I have also travelled extensively by boat and by land am comfortable and capable in any country.

I am an avid traveller having been on the road (or the sea) for the larger part of the last decade. I primarily enjoy travel for the adventure and the experience of visiting new and preferably remote places. Some of the highlights of my travels include riding a bicycle across New Zealand and Japan, riding a motorcycle across Vietnam, and sailing through the islands of Papua New Guinea.

My plans are very open as far as sailing destinations go, some dream destinations of mine include Madagascar, Antarctica, Alaska, and Patagonia. Though I am also interested in any sailing trip that includes interesting destinations, interesting sailing, or interesting crewmates.

My interests are generally focused on the outdoors and I especially love hiking, climbing, and mountaineering but also cycling and paddling. I am always interested in the history and archaeology of the places that I visit.

My primary motivations for crewing are the adventure of visiting new and interesting places that are often difficult to access otherwise. The continual process of learning new skills whether they be sailing, mechanical, culinary or otherwise. And to meet new and interesting people as crewing a boat provides a unique and rewarding social environment.
