I love the ocean. I immerse myself as often as I can in the art and the science of sailing, I think that for me being alone on watch at night is one of my favourite times.
The stars and the solitude allow you to slip away from the chaos of the world and just be at one with the boat you are sailing. Feeling the spray of the ocean, the whorls of wind and the motion of the waves for me are as close to a divine experience as I have come.
