As I finished school (2008) I was eager to explore the world. My first trip was to Canada, for 7 months: hiking the mountains, kayaking, snowboarding and working on farms. Next adventure I set of to China, Tibet, SE-Asia and finishing up with road tripping/surfing the east coast of Australia. I returned to Australia and Indonesia for more surfing, and other adventures. After this I went on my great adventure through South America. Out of nowhere I bought an old VW-bus in Mexico and drove for 9 months from Acapulco to Buenos Aires, 15000 km. I than returned to Mexico again, to live with a fishing family, to learn spear gunning and fluent Spanish.
Now 5 years had past of me jumping around the globe. The summers (June-Aug) where always spent at home, working for funding the next adventure, meeting family/friends, and to enjoy the lake and nature. I worked as, teacher, painter, carpenter, gardener, bartender, personal assistant.
I was getting a bit tired and also curious in doing some studies at the university......I thought, but then plans flipped like a coin….again. I met the love of my life last summer in Sweden (2013), and she was heading towards India. So I cancelled studies and apartment and joined her.
After 3 months of exploring India, we were informed by the Super typhoon Haiyan that hit the Philippines. We did not hesitate long. A initial plan of one month of volunteer work turned into six months. We did different projects down there, funded with donations from family and friends back home. We spent the summer back home, and now we are back again in the Philippines finishing up our last project, supplying schools with new books since they lost the old ones in the typhoon. My girlfriend got offered a Yoga-teacher-trainer-course in India, and is leaving for 7 months (Nov 2014-May 2015).
