My name is Louise. I did a competent crew course in June 2011 and did some sailing off Spain. I spent from mid-November 2013 to mid February 2014 sailing in the Caribbean. December 2016 I sailed off the coast of New Zealand, which was a good refresh and then I sailed off the East Coast of Australia for a month during March/April 2017. I am open to suggestions for sailing in Europe from 2025

I am an adventurer and I travel for work and leisure as part of my normal lifestyle. In the past 17 years I have lived, worked and travelled in the Balkans, Asia, Africa, South and Central America (including Antarctica), the Far East, NZ and Australia. I have visited over 100 countries. I am quite independent and self reliant and I am used to a variety of environments, cultures and scenarios that require adaptability and patience with others and oneself. I enjoy spending time with friends and meeting new people, as well as getting some time to myself. I live a healthy lifestyle, enjoying good vegetarian food, consuming little alcohol, and love to be outdoors and active.
I am easy going and have a GSOH (good sense of humour). I am keen to learn and develop my sailing ability. My other interests include reading, trekking, scuba diving (Dive Master certified including first aid/CPR) and yoga.

My motivation is quite simply that I enjoy sailing. I dont have a romantic notion about it and appreciate the hard work involved at times which are worth the moments where I am immersed in nature with the wind in the sails under a night sky, rising or setting sun or sunny day and feel a sense of serenity and peace of mind. I am keen to build miles and gain more sailing experience and so deliveries, recreational and mile building opportunities interest me at this time.
