I am passionate about sailing, grew up sailing & racing with my father & family on the Great Lakes.
I've lived in Jackson,Wyoming over 40 years, still love the winter and skiing powder. I also love getting away to sail in warm weather , dive & snorkel exploring reefs. I enjoy sharing time on a sailboat with people who enjoy life, traveling and exploring new cultures. I search for colorful markets, music, dance, anything interesting on each new island. I also feel strongly about giving back to the islands we visit along the way. I'm interested in joining boats helping with any local projects.
In April 2022 I had an amazing trip in Alaska combining my 2 great passions skiing & sailing! How fun to sail around exploring glaciers & picking out the right mountain to climb. Then we skied back down to the beach & dingy. Ocean Watch is 65' steel boat perfect for arctic conditions.
Several years ago we had a wonderful experience with a Find a Crew boat & skipper sailing in Fiji & Vanuatu on an fast & comfortable 46' Catamaran. The people in Vanuatu were a highlight for me, so welcoming & happy. We had great sailing across from Fiji, we're both comfortable taking watch at night. Love the islands in Vanuatu, so diverse in ecology & culture. Our skipper was so generous & helped one special island build a new water tank.
Dan & I also crewed for 7 weeks on a 52' Ketch from Townsville AU to Papau New Guinea. We sailed across the Coral Sea & visited many small islands in PNG as part of a group of sailboats. The people were the highlight of my trip. All the boats were stocked with medical supplies, school supplies & solar lights to gift to each island. It was the perfect way to visit & share with the islands & get to know the people. In return they had feasts & dancing to share with us.

I have an O'Day 22 that I sail during the summer months on Jackson Lake,here in Grand Teton National Park. It's the perfect boat for our small lake. It's swing keel that makes it so easy to camp on the beautiful islands on the lake. This is where my 2 girls grew up, sailing, swimming & camping. We also have a Laser 2 for really windy exciting sails!

Both girls are grown & gone, so I have more freedom to travel. I am a self employed artist, glass blowing, and glass sculpture, so I have flexibility in my work schedule.
I spend the winters skiing, mostly back country climbing mountains & skiing perfect powder. I also enjoy nordic skiing and alpine skiing. Staying healthy is an important part of my life, biking & hiking in the summer. I've practiced yoga all my life, helps to keep me fit & eating a healthy diet.
I'm an experienced white water kayaker, and have an advanced scuba diver certification. I also love snorkeling & always swimming at anchor. I live where the water is always cold, so it's such a treat to sail in warm water!
