Hi, I'm looking for some help in sailing the boat. currently on West coast, Thailand, Phuket , short term plan (7months) stay on west coast the passage to Jomien Thailand for some boat work. then Stay on East coast Thailand until Feb 22 then to Indonesia. Then longer trips thru South east Asia. Indonesia and the Philippines.

The boat is a modified L. Francis Herreshoff ketch rigged as a Cat with a wishbone. she can sleep 6 at a push but mostly just has me and a caton board. 2 double berths- 1 fwd and 1 aft so little bit of privacy available ( or as much as one can expect on a 40ft SY). My plan is to sail her in local waters for the next 2 years. ( Langkawi - South Malaysia - Singapore- up to Tioman and Thai waters and over to Sarawak / Sabha and Sumatra

In 2017 I became semi retired and plan to be heading out on a lot longer trips. Indonesia, Australia, India and all points east.
I'm a non Smoker, very very moderate drinker(red wine mostly). I'm vegetarian 'play' Tai Chi snd follow a Buddhist philosopy as my guide thru this existence. I would like to learn a little Yoga. Currently learning Guitar and Harmonica.
I consider myself well read and enjoy a good book or game of backgammon in the evening. I like diving, rock climbing, hiking, most types of music.
