Introduction
I have been sailing for forty years. I bought the current boat in 2007 in Portugal. My first sixteen months on her were solo. Then I picked up two yacht hitch hikers in Tahiti and gave them a lift to New Zealand. Apart from sharing the chores and spreading the costs, their presence really added to the quality of life on board. not least because I could sleep while at sea!
I have decided that the London rat race is no longer for me and so I live on board. While I no longer have a flash car or a suit that fits, I have great peace of mind. I am easy going, out going with sence of humor. My partner now lives on board. She is native french speaker. We both have commercial captain licences.
Ifyou want to experience five star luxury yachting we are not for you. This a basic functional boat with few frills. We jave sailed for the lsst five years without engine, dept sounder, etc we use paper charts suplemented with digital.
