I have been a social sailor for the past 25 years, sailing both around Sydney and on numerous wonderful sailing holidays around the Mediterranean, Thailand and the Whitsundays. I participate in twilight and weekend racing on the Harbour and Pittwater. I leap at most sailing opportunities, so am looking for a regular crewing position or the temptation of a sailing getaway anywhere in the world. I have now been on a couple of successful Find-a-crew cruises, and am keen to continue to take up more such opportunities. However, my preference is for exploring and sailing around islands in an area, as opposed to doing long blue water crossings.
