Dear Shipmates
Introduction
Currently working as Captain of luxury 60' sloop in Greece.
I am a professional sailor with a varied background. I love sailing in remote waters on expeditions but have also worked on high profile super yachts too.
Highlights of my sailing career include;
-sailing to Antarctica as mate/assistant engineer on a 120' ketch, we were the furthest South SY in the World for 2014, the trip was from NZ to Patagonia so we crossed the Southern Ocean and ended up sailing in the fjords of Patagonia
-two sailing/diving expeditions in Micronesia, 120' ketch and 100' sloop as mate
-mate/assistant engineer on a 140' ketch
-two Atlantic crossings - 90' ketch and 60'cat both as watch leader
-working as bosun on a high profile 160' schooner that chartered extensively in the Med
I have also done various Captain jobs mainly on 50-60' SYs in the Med. In total I have done about 40 weeks of charter as captain.
My dream is to sail round the World as Captain for a friendly family whilst taking in incredible places such as; Antarctic Peninsula, Galapagos, Easter Island, Tahiti, Patagonia, Alaska on a fantastic Adventure.
