Dear Shipmates

Introduction

My boat is a very fun boat to sail on. Don't need foulies here. Have all the amenities and numerous water toys, and most of them work most of the time. :-)

About the boat, the plans, and current crew

usually cleancomfortablevery safevessel is survey certifiedvery spaciousshare experiencevisit remote placesseek adventurefulfill a dreamfind a soulmate/partner

Update Sept 24
Heading south from the Chesapeake Bay to Florida and the Bahamas. Prefer the southern parts of the Bahamas as I have found the water is warmer and a bit less crowded. Will be heading towards the Exumas and Raggeds. Latter is bit isolated but that is an attraction.

The boat is a Lagoon 470 cat that been up and down the west coast of the US and Mexico for seven seasons, through the canal in 2016. Since then have been US east coast, through the Caribbean to Trinidad and back up to New England. There have been some stories published about the fun times on board. Can find them and me online using the boat name and my first name

If you are fun and like to live life I hope to hear from you.

Ciao,
Bill

What is expected of the crew

Normal duties of crew on board cruising boats with limited crew. Will be expected to fully participate in all aspects of running the boat, including standing watches when underway.

Although experience on the water is a plus, being a good shipmate is far more important. I have found that the best crew are the ones who possess an "easy smile' and a spirit of adventure. If you have those two qualities then you will do just fine with the boat and me.

I am a very experienced ocean racer and bluewater sailor and know how to get every last ounce of speed out of a boat, and also how to slow down and relax while cruising. Firmly believe that cruising is supposed to be fun and relaxing, not pushing the people or the boat. I finally learned to save that for when I am racing.
