Hi, I'm Peter a dual citizen of Australia and the UK and have been living in Australia for the past 35 years. I will resume premium membership if I receive a favourable wave.
I've been sailing for about 15 years, club racing in Perth, Western Australia, Regattas in Queensland, cruising in WA, Greece, Croatia, and Bali to Malaysia approx 1200nm in 2023.
I'm recently retired professional seafarer/marine steward and have been at sea for 15+ years, and so have spent many months at sea at a time, albeit on relatively large commercial vessels. Therefore, I have current certificates of safety training (STCW/COST), regular sea time and are accustomed to maintaining harmonious relationships whilst living onboard a vessel.
I'm a non-smoker, social drinker, sociable, easy going with a good sense of humour. I enjoy discovering new places, cultures, and local food/drinks I enjoy a healthy diet - incl chicken/fish and occasionally red meat. I'm tidy, good at cleaning and cooking, and also reasonably good at fixing things.
I have a RYA Day skipper's ticket, ICC, LROCP, and enjoy the cruising lifestyle. I would love the opportunity to learn more from an experienced, easy going Skipper. In return I can commit to crewing for several weeksor more, if everyone’s happy.
