My name is Ingo and I am living in Cologne, Germany.
In the year 2009 - visiting Las Palmas and seeing ships going on the ARC- I was gettting enthusiastic to do this myself one day. So I made first my Exam for inland navigation and after this the german license, which is similar to the practical costal skipper and with an english sailing school I have done n nor the english day skipper.
I want to get in contact to other (also English-speaking) sailors.

I have also made for some trips esperience on a TALLSHIP.

Also with my experience and my sailing licences, I still think, that I have and want to learn a lot to get a safe and good Sailor.
Off course, I can work hard and offering my help. Just explain, how and what kind of help, I can give to you and I will do my best.
Being a teamplayer and giving assistance for achieving the common aim and also taking responsibility for my part are the first characteristics, which I can bring in - and of course the wish learning as much as possible about sailing.

Besides sailing, I am working after studies in Law and Psyhology (last study was not finished), in a social company helping people to find their way into work again and also out of someones financial crisis.

So I am used to paper work an to carry on negotians with so on German and English language. So I can also offer this work, if it is necessary with authorites and other persons.

Besides the Introduction „ Dear Shipmates“ I can tell about myself, that I have studied German law and Psychology, but working not in this field, but finding for people, who have lost their job, an new one. But I intend in next future, getting back to my roots, working at least part-time in Mediation and alternative dispute resolution and also in teambuilding (perhaps also on ship)
I have got the „Sailing-virus“, but I also like meeting friends and reading.
